Slingshot Product Development Group, Inc. offers manufacturing through a joint venture with East West Manufacturing, LLC ("EW") in Shenzhen, China. The key purpose of the joint venture is to ensure smooth transitions from development into manufacturing at the most strategically advantageous pricing in Asia. Slingshot's CAD Design & Prototyping office in Shenzhen, China complements EW's current 30+ person manufacturing team in China and Vietnam. The joint venture called "Slingshot Global" provides the combined efforts of both companies to offer clients the most effective concept-to-manufacturing program support for innovative products and product lines.
The current EW team includes professionals in sourcing, quality control documentation, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics in Shenzhen, China and HoChi Minh, Vietnam. EW also completed the construction of a factory in Vietnam in March 2008. Slingshot Global will provide manufacturing through EW's growing network of 90+ Asian factories. Slingshot Global will focus on consumer product programs initially with expansion into medical throughout 2008.
