The Inventor of the Wallaballa approached Slingshot with the desire to revamp his product to include more interaction with scorekeeping, lights, sounds, and game options. The key challenge was maintaining the aesthetic and game play while adding many electronic details at an efficient price.
Through the design process, Slingshot proposed multiple forms and assembly techniques. Slingshot engineers implemented the design in a way that would be manufacturable and yet contain all of the necessary components, while also advising on components for the lighting, sound, text sequence, and interface.
Additionally, Slingshot completed the packaging design and managed distribution and logistics for production. In the end, Slingshot delivered a fully redesigned, tooled, manufactured part; delivered and ready to fulfill orders.
